I bought this eyeshade over 7 years ago in a surf shop and it is still looking good. The coloured band is still colourful and the black shade has faded to a nice light charcoal. This is the most comfortable eyeshade I have ever worn. I have tried many others over the years ( all in the bin)and silly me (only took me 7 years), I decided to read the label and google it. Now I am ordering two more. It fits so well especially for windy beach walks. After wearing it all this time, every day, it still fits well.
